As cruises are a preferred method of vacation for our older generations. To be a nurse on a cruise ship, you must be a fully accredited RN with a nursing school diploma, and have worked in a “medical” setting for at least 2 years. In general as a cruise ship nurse you must meet the following definition:
A nurse along with other health care professionals is responsible for the treatment, safety, and recovery of ill or injured people, health maintenance of the healthy, and treatment of life-threatening emergencies in a wide range of health care settings. Nurses may also be involved in medical and nursing research studies and perform a wide range of non-clinical functions necessary to for the health care of others.
